The other question which occurs to me is to ask whether Ukraine has any aircraft suitable for carrying and delivering Storm Shadow missiles.

This is the bit I don't understand. If the missiles are delivered by plane, what's to stop Ukraine flying into Russian territory and firing a missile at one of their towns ?

Presumably, Russian anti-aircraft missiles or their own fighter aircraft, both of which I'm sure they are well-supplied.

Of course, with a range of over 300 miles, the Ukraines could launch their missiles beyond the Russian's territory.  Somehow, it would be poetic licence if Ukraine could attack Russian lands and cities, just as the Russians did to them.
