Sanctions maybe mean they can't get spare parts easily.

I read that one of the pumps at least was sent to Canada for maintenance and they won't give it back. At the same time some countries have given a maximum price for oil/gas bought directly from Russia and Russia has replied by cutting off supplies to any country that won't pay the going rate. (In Roubles presumably). So any Russian oil/gas we buy will come through a third country like China, at their price and by ship in most cases.
