Annoying cursor change

I've spent a lot longer trawling around this site than anybody else and spotted something I found annoying and can't explain. It could happen with other sites but I've never noticed it.

*** False alarm. Not the forum. I've just had it happen elsewhere so probably a browser bug (I'm using Brave).

As you move around websites you have probably noticed that your cursor will change.
Normally an arrow. In text areas where you can type a vertical bar.
Hovering over a link a pointing finger.
Page busy and egg timer or rotating circle.
In fact a whole raft of them...


What I've had here isn't any of those and I was fool enough not to screen dump it.

What will happen is the cursor goes to a small dot and triangle then sticks on it.

You may not care but it annoys me as does any unexplained idiosyncratic behaviour.
Anyway the fix is a version of many computer fixes - not reboot the damned thing but the milder version of that. Close the webpage and reopen it.

I'll try to remember a screen dump next time and modify this post. Perhaps one day I'll notice just what I was doing that got it stuck.
