I'd have blocked him in with my car and left it.

Me too if I'd been at my own home in Perth, but up here Himself would have either blocked him with a tractor, or winched it up and removed it to a layby out on the road.

The driver's got some cheek hasn't he !  maybe let a couple of tyres down ? then again, the driver could be a 6ft 4in bouncer, so maybe not.......

This is a prime candidate for the 'You Couldn't Make It Up Thread'.

When you read that it's perfectly legal for anyone to park on your drive & it's a criminal offence for you to shove it out into the middle of the road.

I'd have got it vandalised for 50 quid while I was 10 miles away.

I read the guy who picked it up was wearing a hi viz jacket, so possibly someone from the many 'drop off and collect'  firms operating near the airport.

Vandalism is the answer. Sufficient for it to need a tow truck not just some bloke in a hi viz jacket to pick up. At least we now know that the police have no interest in vehicles parked on private property.

Raven

To be honest, The Police don't seem to have much interest in anything these days.
