Serious Major Incident at RAF Fairford

The incident at RAF Fairford has been escalating overnight, this is what is clear so far.
Gloucestershire Police has announced that they have arrested multiple men on suspicion of offences under the Explosives Act, and that they have declared a Major Incident.
According to the Police, the Army explosives disposal team are examining a number of vehicles.
During the evening, we learned that RAF Fairford had been placed in FPCON Delta, the highest alert level for U.S. Bases, and that Lakenheath (but not Mildenhall), had been placed in the second-highest alert level, Charlie.A U.K. Police helicopter was circling the base in the early hours of the morning while local residents in Kempsford were being evacuated from their homes, as reported by Wiltshire999.
