I only received the last of my order today but I do have 10 in pots most of which are sprouting in the greenhouse , I have never done cuttings from the shoots Mups, what's your success rate on doing that. I will be putting all of mine ino large pots this year until I see what else this new garden shows this summer. There are no spare bits of ground that I can see at the moment. I am sticking with shorter varieties this year, you can't have a garden without dahlias 😀

It's quite easy to do, Vlad,  but take a tiny sliver of the tuber with the intended shoot.   It's certainly a cheap way to increase your stock.   I sometimes take several cuttings from my favourites just incase they don't make it through the winter.   I do the same with my favourite  Salvias too.

We have showers and a strong wind today and I'm just pluttering about inside the house. Dunc says he might make time to go for a swim and a sauna this afternoon and that's fine if it's not too busy, but you never know at the W/E. I won't do as many lengths as I usually do but intend to spend more time just relaxing in the Jacuzzi's ☺️

A chilly wind blowing for the last couple of days.   I don't feel like doing much outside  when its like this,  so think I might sow some more seeds indoors  instead.
I wish we'd never had to change to this stupid peat-free rubbish compost!

Same same Mups, but I mix mine with a John Innes No 3 which adds some body to it.

Sunny and cold here today, I've just mooched about did a bit of washing, bit of dusting - just a flick and I had
 a schnitzel for lunch and made some pancakes.  I also applied some sealant around the kitchen sink, but totally cocked it up.....
