What on earth's the matter with Katie Price?   I don't understand how that woman thinks.

Just seen she has married again  (4th time),  to a bloke she only met ONE WEEK ago!
Apparently they got engaged within a few days,  then married the very  next day in Dubai.   No friends, no family,  just the two of them.

The newspaper said this new man only did an identical proposal to a different woman just 4 months ago!

Can't post a link, because all the papers seem to want you to pay for it now?

Mups

It won't let me read that link unless I pay, too, Klondie?

My Wifi SSIDs are Norse mythology related. Valhalla for 5GHz and Asgard for 2.4GHz. My router will do 6GHz but I haven't turned that one on yet as I don't have anything that uses it. Perhaps Loki when I do

Seen in the local NextDoor feed..

Good afternoon
Looking for a plumber to fix a lead pipe in the kitchen tomorrow in NN3. Pipe is in cavity but has been exposed by leak detection already so just needs repairing. 7/8 inch fitting needed.
Anyone with availability?

I could be wrong but I sort of think they will be disappointed. I doubt many modern plumbers have the skills to work with lead pipe and install fittings for it. It's all push fit plastic with the occasional bit of copper pipe soldering if it can't be avoided.

Were you a Plumber in a past life, Klondike?

On our Nextdoor site It would appear that everyone is missing or finding a cat..  Some people see a cat in their garden.. Take pics of it and ask 'Does this stray cat... who is meowing belong to anyone'?
They usually come home... Well fed...

No I was never a plumber. I don't have the skills needed to work with lead pipes. That was the sort of skill you'd need to be taught.

That second house i mentioned in another thread was a modem one but had no central heating. My brother in law could turn his hand to most things and together we put in a central heating system with him taking the lead and me doing a lot of the grunt work like taking up floorboards so the pipes could be concealed. I found a company who took all your house sizes, planned your system and sold you a kit of parts. That was all copper piping with soldered connections.

I did recently add a radiator to my current system which is all push fit plastic piping and as there is a cellar below the lounge putting it in was pretty easy.

I still wouldn't attempt to work on lead pipework though.
