Vlad

At first it was only a feeling as if you had remembered something or someone but it passed...then there was a stirring, an odd feeling that something somewhere was happening, a portent ...birds could sense it,  flocks were seen leaving the trees, and there was a mighty murmuration in the skies..animals flocked uneasily together, dogs stayed close to their masters.
Why?....

Vlad the chosen One has risen...

All hail the mighty conker.

I trust all is in order in the House of Vlad

Good to see you back - I had to put up an Open sign because everybody seemed to think the place had shut for Christmas. I don't think I tightened all the screws up but I'm buggered if I'm getting the ladder out again.

Men don't get smarter as we age.  We just run out of stupid stuff to do.

Vlad

It's a very nice sign, it was the first thing I noticed other than the over flowing toilets.

Can't get the staff. Scrumpy was doing them but now she's off sick. Mac has got a touch of something or other, Raven is still recovering, I've done something to my leg, Dex vanishes as soon as he spots a mop. It's all a worry.

You have done something to your leg? Varnished it?
Hopefully the guvvermunt will U-turn on business rates so we can get some loose change in order to employ some staff. It's becoming like a geriatric ward ...

No it's any annoying slightly pulled tendon. Not enough to stop me walking around the house but on a longer outside walk uncomfortable and makes be walk with a limp (careful phrasing before you jump on it). I expected it to get better quickly just with resting it but it has hung around a while. It was my birthday just before Christmas so I'm now a year older, I expect that's it.

I think a Parrot might help, a man about town like your good self can't go far wrong with a parrot.

Funny you should say that.....

Mups

You've not still got that same grubby old hat, have you?
Perhaps the ladies on here could knit you a nice new one  for your an Easter Egg.

Nice parrot.

Raven

My Granddaughter in Dundee City Centre, making friends with a beautiful bird.

Vlad

It will all end in tears of course, they are obviously incompatible
