Has anyone seen the news today about that beautiful little girl,  Sara Sharif,  who was killed by the abuse her father and step mother regularly handed out to her?   They have finally finished the report.

The news said about the mistakes made by the social workers who were supposed to help Sara.
Absolutely and unbelievably horrific.
Apparently they never even asked her where all her bruises came from,  and even worse,   the day before she was killed,  they even went to the wrong address altogether!!

Leaving aside the somewhat bleeding obvious failures of social services, what would be an appropriate outcome for the parents?

The blood runs cold at the thought of what that poor little girl suffered .
Capital punishment
Certainly the father has forfeited the right to live ,

Aaaah but " lessons will be learned " as usual.
Baby P is the one who stays in my mind, there are many others.  There's outrage but nothing changes.

I imagine a lot of the oversight is down to huge caseloads. Councils can't afford to handle the work volume caused by so many scumbags being out there.

This is one area where they can't get the staff.

Perhaps we need some different types of social workers. It's all right having caring, understanding lovely people, but maybe some enforcer types who won't be intimidated by the scumbags should be employed.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

The thing that upsets me the most, and heaven knows how they must feel now, is the neighbours who often heard screams but didn't interfere and call for help for fear of being seen as racist ffs!!!!

I can't imagine the pain that girl must have been through,  as well as the mental fears.
Those bastards even burnt both her feet with an iron,  presumably so that she couldn't stand up or walk.

If they didn't want the child,  why couldn't they give her up for adoption?  Why keep her and torture her every day instead?
I don't believe that locking people like that up will change them,  because it comes from their mind,  and no matter how long they put them away for,  they still have the same minds.

Unless those parents are being kept in solitary while in prison,  I am surprised they haven't been bumped off before now.
