Absolutely true about the licence fee.  I think it might be 2027 when the BBC comes up for a decision on their situation.  I'm absolutely sure that the government (to say nothing about the civil service and others) strongly supports the Beeb, and I would be very surprised if their licence, etc, is not extended again.

If so, I am sure that many more brave people would choose not to pay up, but would take care to ensure that the BBC gestapo not find any evidence of people watching 'live programmes' or, for that matter, even BBC programmes (if anyone still watches them).

Apart from the Rugby Six Nations, and some of the games are now ITV, can't remember the last time I watched live TV whether BBC or anyone else
