Omeprazole

Years ago my father in law used to take baking powder, a half teaspoon in some warm water.  A big burp later and his problem was gone.  

Alex.. Could it be Bicarbonate of Soda that you meant rather then baking powder..!!

I am surprised at how many of us use Omeprazole..
I am going to stop using it and try something else such as Gaviscon chewable tablets should I need them..
