Anybody do it.

I have some white Sketchers Delux Walker 2 trainers which are supposed to be machine washable at 30°C. Being white they didn't take long to get a bit grubby. I checked the Sketchers site and found the washing guide and that the type is machine washable. Despite that I'm still wary.

Quick Guide: The Dos and Don'ts of Skechers Care
In a hurry? Here are the most important things to remember:
DO check for the "Machine Washable" icon on the product detail page or original packaging before washing. When in doubt, hand wash!
DO use a laundry bag or pillowcase for machine washable styles.
DO use cold water and a gentle cycle.
DO let your shoes air dry completely before wearing or storing.
DON'T ever put your Skechers in a machine dryer.
DON'T use bleach or hot water.
DON'T submerge light-up shoes in water.

Yes that's about right .
I always wear Skechers trainers and that is what I do ( except putting them in a bag )

There's all sorts of stuff about stuffing them with paper while they are drying so they retain their shape too. The reason I'm bothered is because they are fairly new and my most comfortable trainers for walking so I don't want to mess them up. I'd rather have dirty trainers than destroyed trainers.

Yes, I only buy white trainers, I bung them in the washing machine on their own to wash at 40 degrees. Then they go out on the window sill in the sun to dry. Been doing it for over 40 years.

First pair of white trainer I've had I think.

There's a Skechers outlet fairly close and I got them a couple of months back along with another pair. Those were both from the discontinued section at big discounts off their (supposed) earlier prices. They both knocked spots off the Skechers ones I already have but maybe because I've walked those out. The older ones could probably be fixed up with new insoles but I've never had much luck doing that as they always seem to slip so I'll probably bin them - not sure if they should go in the clothes bank as they don't look bad but I don't find them as comfortable as the new ones.

Anyway today I went and got another couple of pairs as I like to rotate them plus there's an extra 30% off the cheaper of the pair. I couldn't find any I liked in my size in the discontinued this time but they all seem to beat local shoe shops and there is a wide range obviously. One of the new ones had a label saying machine washable so that lead to my question.

Shove them in the wash, they'll be fine.

For better or worse they are in right now

I too just ' Bung them in the washing machine'..
I usually put insoles in them.. I think they are more comfortable..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I just wash mine in the sink with a gentle scrub.
I always take the insoles out first though.

When they are washed, I use the laces to tie them to the clothes line outside and let the sun dry inside and out.
