I almost choked when I heard a journalist stating that it was time that they the journalists should begin outing liars, like the new PM...
What bloody arrogance, professional liars saying when they find a liar they should denounce them...

When they are proved to be liars journalists should be jailed.

I agree.  I also think that MPs who have demonstrably lied should be booted out of Westminster and a by-election held.  That way, we'd have a constantly changing government😉

Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

There's a fairly simple thing the MPs say which indicates that what they are about to add is, at best, only a fraction of the truth.  It is ..." the reality of the situation...", or similar

While I'm on my soap box, I also think that MPs should not be allowed to cross the floor.  IMHO, when people put their cross on a ballot paper, they're more than likely voting for a party and couldn't give two hoots who the actual candidate is.  So, if an MP wants to quit a party, or is sacked (or loses the whip), there should immediately be a by-election.  If the MP really is so popular as a person, then he/she/they🙄 will be elected as the candidate first whoever it is they've decided to join (or as an independent)

If they disqualified them during an election campaign we'd have no government at all

Hoorah.  Any deviation from their manifesto would lead to automatic dismissal since ignorance is no defence in law.

Hear, hear!  TwoTier would have been out early last year and, more to the point, the country would rejoice.

I'd also want the loud mouthed gobs***e who can't string a coherent sentence together unless it's to hurl abuse, Rayner, to disappear into oblivion in some club/bar in Ibiza or Magaluf, which would be fitting.

(NB - edited my post to add a missing astricks, er, asteriks, er...star)

I agree, but didn't you mean gobs***e?
