Anyone got the promised Thunder Storms? It's rumbling away here, still in the distance but no rain. Could do with the rain the ground's solid.

I just turned on my garden irrigation for a few minutes.  Within 2 mins of starting it, it began to rain.  Am trying to work out if my plant sprayers have seeded a rain cloud 😬🤣🤣

No storms - yet -  just feels like it will.
Its felt like this for the last couple of days.

I had to have a fan running in my bedroom all last night,  it was so hot and airless.
My eldest dog, Liffey, is 13 and she has been struggling with this heat. 

We've got another hot day tomorrow, so they have forecast tonight.

Hope Liffey's OK.  I leave the overhead fan on in the log cabin at the end of the garden.  My older cat appreciates the draught.

So humid and muggy tonight, we finally got rain but just a shower, I was hoping for a real good storm and it would clear the air.
Fan on all night again I think.

She keeps getting out of her cosy bed and laying on the cooler vinyl floor in the kitchen.
They neither seem to like the fan blowing directly on them.

I do hope we don't get a 5th heatwave after this one!
