I'd imagine that the North Korean and Russian soldiers may be packing up their kit bags ready to go home.  For there can barely be a day left of the special military operation in Ukraine as Trump will have single handedly sorted it out by tomorrow.

It's over according to o the results I've seen. It shows Trump with 277 which is past the line at 270 and Harris 224. Not sure how many states are still to declare but Harris cannot now win.

The vote counting isn't over but if every remaining vote goes to Harris she still can't win & she's conceded defeat & phoned President-elect Trump to congratulate him.

Trump has increased his vote share of every demographic in the US & the size of his win & the speed of him passing the 270 deciding mark must be one of the fastest & most decisive US election results there has been.

I just hope Lammy's big fat black gob hasn't pissed off Donald Trump too much.

There may be peace talks over Ukraine but Russia can't give up the territory just like that. The atrocities committed by the Ukrainian nazis, not only against the Russian speakers but also against ethnic Crests must never be repeated. It's still my opinion that Ukraine will be divided but peace will prevail.

I was discussing this with a mate this afternoon, after we had come down from climbing a mountain (well, a hill).
He mentioned that the eastern parts of Ukraine are pro-Russian according to most of the people living there who also speak Russian.  So it is fairly likely that those particular areas may end up becoming part of Russia.

But what about Crimea.  That is not populated by pro-Russian people, or at least wasn't before they invaded.  In addition to that, Crimea is a strategic piece of land which is in a position to help control the Black Sea.  Russia certainly wants it, but I suspect that the indigenous people would rather remain Ukrainian.  In addition, if America and the West remain involved in the matter, they I think would like to keep Crimea Ukrainian. 

Once this is over, I'm sure that the Ukraine would quickly apply to join NATO.  Before the Russian invasion, I believe they declined such an offer on the grounds that Ukraine could remain a completely independent country and that Russia would agree to comply with such.  Obviously Russia had other ideas.

Considering Russia has shelled eastern Ukraine to rubble and plundered raped and killed the civilians that were living there until their towns and villages became uninhabitable there are no pro or anti Russian civilians left there any more because they have all either left or are dead.
