King Starmer is taking away the pensioners winter fuel allowance - except for those on benefits.

He is also referring to our hard earned State Pension as a 'benefit'.

Ergo - all pensioners are on benefits therefore all should receive winter fuel allowance. Right?

The thing is the state pension has always been classed as a benefit despite us having paid in to get it all out working lives.

The problem with that is this shower might just decide to make it means tested the same as they did with the WFA which I just considered to be part and parcel of the pension I damned well paid for. When Brown got his cheer in the commons by announcing it he didn't say it was for some pensioners he just said it was for pensioners. No qualification. Arses.
