Michael Crawford, the actor known for playing Frank Spencer in the sitcom Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, has been honoured by Donald Trump.

The US president named Crawford, 85, as a Kennedy Centre honouree on Wednesday in a ceremony at the Kennedy Centre in Washington, DC.

This got me thinking as Michael is one of only two famous people I've met !    I met him many MANY moons ago in  a club in Liverpool, I think it was the Shakespeare.  He was a Chelsea supporter and was up to watch his team play Everton on the Saturday.  We sat at a table and chatted away, he was drinking half pint glasses of Vodka and swore like a docker !  I was a bit taken aback but it seems all 'cockneys' used the F word all the time and ' bleeding this, bleeding that....  funny how I can remember that night, but not what I did last Sunday night

I must say,  I am surprised too.
I've never seen him like that,   but I suppose he wouldn't get away with on the telly, would he.

BTW,  Trump got it slightly wrong,  because it seems he is 83,  not 85.

He was 'slighly' tipsy    but I'm not joking his language was bad, his wife was about to divorce him, so I guess he was also sad.  He never re-married.
