It's occurred to me that there could be a firmware update. Before I decommissioned my live TV receivers, I had a set-top box that played up and a friend of mine found a firmware update that fixed it.

The shop replaced my TV with another brand new one, the young man said it could be a 'card' ?  Anyway set it up, adding my Netflix account etc, would you believe it's done it again so it couldn't have been the telly.

I did learn that Panasonic don't actually make their own tellies now, at least the cheaper ones, they're made in Turkey by Vestel so Panasonic can concentrate on their upmarket OLED models.  Handy for the pub quiz.....
