If anyone is wondering where their TV licence money goes, here is a list of all their 'employees' who earned in excess of  £178,000 last year:

That Lineker who talks about football tops the list, of course.

Of course, I have never heard of most of them.

Of course he's not worth that ridiculous salary, no idea why they're so obsessed with Lineker, people would still watch MOTD no matter who the presenter was.

The encouraging thing is that, according to the press, more and more people are choosing not to pay the BBC Tax.  Many don't want to watch it; presumably others watch it but refuse to pay for it.
The latter group may be 'breaking the law', but if they are sensible and careful they will never be prosecuted.

I just can't understand why any sport programme need presenters to discuss what happened, don't the sports viewers know what happened?

When I watch Corrie I don't need it explaining to me both during & afterwards.

I suspect that the inclusion of Lineker whenever they show a football match is irrelevant.
The football supporters just want to watch the match and probably have little or no interest in what Lineker says.
Money for old rope!

Exactly!
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

From what I've heard about the various perversions on there these days I might need it explaining.

Different opinions are discussed I guess !   you don't always see what happens at both ends of the pitch, my lad could do Linker's job for a tenth of the price

Ooh yes, there's more than one gay in that village!  The alcoholic is still off the booze, there's a long standing Asian family and a black family. And the most recent murderer is dead.  The Rovers is shut.  And its coming up to Christmas so somethings going to turn nasty. Phil can add any bits I've missed. 😄

But I assume the camera person always manages to show the part of the pitch where the ball is.

Time for another train to come off the viaduct then. At least they are likely safe from terrorist attacks.

Probably, but after we'd been to a match at Anfield, we'd always watch the highlights on MOTD.

Reads like the cast of 'All our Yesterdays'. Bet old Rayworth's well pissed at being so far down and the awful 'Ball' woman, nearly a million squids for her! Poor old Ronnie Biggs must be spinning in his grave!
