Who'd have thought there would EVER be a need to guard the Cenotaph eh ?  This ex service man, he sounds from south Wales from his accent, just arrived in London and he's wearing his medals !
This brought tears to my eyes.

OUR country should be bloody ashamed of themselves..
Ashamed that they allow others to protest .. mock.. and dramatically change our way of life..

Ashamed that they are allowing others to grow and take over..
Ashamed that BLM when white lives do not..
Ashamed that our stories of old should not be told..
and ashamed that our words have to change because they offend the few..
The day will come when we will all be shamed at being white British..

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Ah, but just look at it this way.
Eventually, we shall be 'the few'.
Then there will be many voices insisting that they must change their words to as not to offend the few: us!

I've been watching the ceremony, love the massed bands. All a big part of our culture and history. Glad its all going without a hitch.

Can't remember what I had on in the background yesterday, but I heard a vicar say something interesting...the word remembering means putting the arms and legs back onto a body.

Obviously metaphorically, but it allows for some discussion of interpretation.
