Not the supermarket, but the country.  I've read this morning that a town in Iceland called Grindavik has been evacuated, a whole town.   It seems there have been multiple small earthquakes in the last weeks and now they're expecting a volcanic eruption.  No idea how far this is from the capital Reykjavik where an old friend of mine lives.

Scary.

My ballpark calculations suggests that the amount of energy released from the Mt St Helens would have been enough to power around 2.5 million houses for one year.

Whick makes me reflect on just how much energy our species manages to produce given the huge number or houses it does power.
