I've only just learned that it's a Bank Holiday this weekend..

We had extra for Charles coronation this year I think. I hope for those still inconvenienced by work that the weather is halfway decent. We have pretty much been cheated out of a decent summer this year.

incidentally - why don't they call them 10% Bank Holidays as about 90% of branches seem to have closed over the last few years

Nope, not a holiday in Scotland. Just checked the calendar and it says UK holiday except Scotland.
