I need some very fine/ transparent tracing paper..
It seems to come in different thickness.. eg: 35..gsm  55gsm
I do not understand what gsm means.. Does higher number mean thicker paper and lower number mean finest or the other way round.. !!
I just want a cheap fine tracing paper to copy an image..
   Thank you..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

GSM is grams per square meter so the bigger the number the thicker the paper. Bog standard A4 printer paper is usually about 80gsm if that gives you a clue. I doubt that the weight will make much difference for your use other than really fine can tear if you aren't careful.
