The Bridge

I watched a Swedish drama a few years ago on BBC 3 which was really good, subtitles of course.  I found a US version of the same programme on Prime, called 'The Bridge' but in English.   Instead of the bridge connecting Sweden to Denmark, this one connects El Paso US to Juarex, Mexico so there's plenty of action with the opening scenes being unforgettable.

Hope you like it Klondy, the female detective is kind of autistic same as the Swedish character was.

I've watched episode one and it is certainly different    I'll watch some more later. I see there are 13 episodes in season 1 and there is also a season 2.

I've finished both seasons, I got hooked

Sorry I couldn't get into it. I think all the extra sub plots along with the 13  episodes made me lose interest.
