Any advice?

I don't mind that next door is having a new bathroom, or builders across the road are cuutting stone. Neither do I mind lawnmowers.  All noisy, but necessary. Having a radio on outside so neighbours can hear it, or playing music loudly are not necessary, and are extremely selfish.

We have a small garden, backed by terrace houses with even smaller yards.  Most of the time its peaceful. A youngish couple sometimes have friends round, and I hear children playing a couple of doors down, and in the yard behind. Fortunately none are screechers, because their parents don't allow it.
