I needed to go to the local hospital for my booster today but we have a puncture.  I asked on the local facebook page for taxi recommendations as I know some of them have closed down and I didn't trust the bus to turn up and get me there on time. 


A lady replied that she was taking her dad and aunt and there was room for one in her car.  My appointment was a bit later but the hospital let me go in with the others so she brought me home as well.  I was thinking I would have to get a bus.


She's a lovely kind lady who is looking after her grandchildren while her son is in Ukraine training their soldiers to use weapons donated by us.  He didn't get paid for the first six weeks so she was sending him money but he is getting paid now.
