I had no idea.  This explains a lot more than I was aware of, including chopping down trees and other inane damage.  I can see why you are so angry, and if I were closer I'm sure I'd feel exactly the same.
They should have been taken to the cleaners for the damage they have caused.

Our throw away society means that people just leave stuff .
Tents and chairs .
They clearly have money to burn as well .

This sort of thing is probably not because of people intentionally causing damage, but more likely due to the campers simply being too stupid to think of the potential consequences.
