The current limerick reminded me that I saw something odd in the street the other day and picked it up. I saw it was a rechargeable vape that had just been dumped or dropped and as one of my granddaughter vapes I kept it and checked it charged.

Then I looked up the price and it amazed me how cheap these things are.

All fruity flavours. They probably aim these things at children.

Thinking of asking Father Christmas for one this year perhaps.

The overblanket ones are more expensive but for me they are a gamechanger as they keep the weight of the bedcovers way down. The highest setting will take the edge off the beclothes in the time it takes to undress. I wouldn't be able to stand more than the lowest setting overnight most nights.

Quote from: klondike on Today at 08:48:36 AMI have a summer one all year round.

My first stage as it gets colder is to put an overblanket on between duvet and top sheet.
Next stage is to give the bed a blast on high #6 setting before getting in.
Then comes all night on low #1 setting with an occasional #2 setting overnight.
Declaring winter is adding a thick throw over the duvet.

Wakey wakey     Is everone still in bed?

A beautiful sunny morning so far.  Washing machine on, and just having a cuppa before I give the pooches their brekkie.

I actually woke up cold during the night, and had to chuck a throw over the duvet.  Perhaps getting near time to think about putting the winter tog one on now.
Does everyone else have a summer one and a winter one?

"It's chilly tonight,"  Joe said
I'll have to wear 'jamas in bed
They were hardly in fashion
And did nothing for Jill's passion
They were stripy, purple and red.

She may be thick but seems able to weave her way through how to get the best out of her property transactions and expenses. You don't need to have any qualifications to know how to fiddle benefits tax and expenses so probably a mate told her.
