With an 80 majority and such an optimistic air of great things to come how could it all go so wrong in a couple of years.
One at a time please and in no particular order I'll kick it off...
Inflation
Immigration
More help for Electric/Gas/Heating Oil bills.
GPs
Work for peace and cheap energy
"How could it all go so wrong in a couple of years ? "
I'd say Covid was a big reason, plus losing control of the dinghies.
Green Climate Change People.
The Great Barrington declaration pointed to the way to handle covid but instead we got lockdowns. The money printing that was needed to support lockdown certainly lead to the inflation we are seeing now.
Reliance was placed on vaccines which turn out not only to have failed to work but lead to deaths for which taxpayer compensation is now being paid as the pharmaceuticals were guaranteed no blame.

Anyhow another for the intray
NHS backlog
The NHS has major problems. However I was pleased to see a huge recruitment fair in our Winter Gardens yesterday. There were lots of staff from a variety of NHS departments, plus Sheffield Uni, and it was heaving. Apprenticeships are now the name of the game, with appropriate qualifications, right up to degree, along the way. No student debt, but a pay packet.
It'll take a while to put things right, so many experienced staff are leaving, burnt out because they are understaffed, overworked, and regularly abused.
Crime and Policing
Related but worth a mention of its own
Pakistani child rape gangs
Illegal immigration
Social housing
Northern Ireland Protocol aka border in Irish sea
Knife/gun crime.
Prime Minister Truss's first phone call
Permanent under secretary? Bring me a dustbin. Thanks.
She'll need more than one for all those letters about stopping the dinghy invasion so long as folks post them in the postbox as well as post about them on Facebook. Mines sealed and ready to go.
Unless Sunak has stolen it with overseas voters of course.
"Better make that a large dustbin"
End the woke nonsense in ALL public services.

What a criminal waste of money :yell:
They admit to £10,000 painting police cars and £17,000 painting fire trucks. it's such a waste. How much does it cost to paint them back the proper colours when they have had enough?
Get the British coal industry going again. Higher prices make it viable and necessary.
Might end the nonsense of shipping wood across the Atlantic to Drax. That has got to be expensive and it will take decades for the CO2 produced to grow back as trees.
