McDonald's pulling all it's 800 restaurants out of Russia..
I remember the queues and excitement when the first McDonald's opened thirty years ago..

Surely the country must realise that the West do not agree with the actions of Putin.. and he could be the aggressor..  :nooo:

Also read that Putin could be suffering with blood cancer.. So many theories flitting about..
I'm sure there is something seriously wrong with the man.. (health wise)..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Alex

Must admit I didn't expect Putin to actually invade Ukraine.   His face looks puffy on the photos we've seen of him lately, so definitely something wrong with the man.
As for Mc Donalds, I guess Russian youngsters have grown up with Maccy Ds on their doorsteps, be quite a shock for them to lose it.

Russians don't believe what's happening. They are under the impression that Russia is the victim not the other way around.  They have been told that the rest of the world is lying, and they believe it, how nuts is that.  :worried:
Surely they must know that McDonald's would not remove it's businesses on a lie.

Unfortunately, unlike us in the West, Russians tend to believe what they're told in the media unless they can access non-domestic news on the web which most can't I suspect..

They will in time learn the truth when they see what they have done to Ukraine, and just how many of their young men have died in this fruitless war.

On the contrary Zoon, I never heard a single soul who believed Russia weren't wrong, coming from the UK. This conflicts with your claim. Also I never heard the Russian side of the argument expressed anywhere. The same applied exactly to Covid legislation where my critique of 'statistics was laughed at or worse.

Continuously we are living in a world of no debate, herd decision, sadly all Government(s) steered through the media. Where only the case for the prosecution is heard and anyone who wants to hear the other side is treated with disdain.

The Russians are a proud people who lost 89 men to every American who died in WW2. Her people have been completely annexed by the Biden and World Economic Forum Influences. The worse thing to do is to convince a Nation they are somehow 'sub-human'. Someone else who now makes Volkswagens pulled that one on them in 1941. They now hypocritically spend $8 Bn dollars a month with Russia for gas, whilst simultaneous calling them names from afar ...

Can you be 100% certain that it isn't us being fed the BS though?
