Well it made me laugh.

Me too.

I would say we could do with some here but I can see a disadvantage too. A rather big one I imagine...

Here is the news. An elephant has done a ton on the M1.

When I lived in a village with a riding stables near you sometimes had to treat the results as a roundabout.

Yes, and it also made me impressed.

Who would imagine that an elephant would bother to pick up rubbish when so many British yobs simply take the easy option and just chuck it on the ground?

They are obviously intelligent and responsible beings.  I refer to elephants rather than yobs, of course!

I don't think an Indian elephant could do this.
