I've just realised that I was debanked round about 1995, I can't remember the exact date as it wasn't even a word in those days.

I was a Yorkshire Bank customer for a number of years, but it was taken over by the National Australia Bank in 1990, & I went into my branch to pay some money into my business account & I was taken into an interview room where my paying-in book & bank card were seized & my account closed.

I wasn't given a reason & to be honest I just thought "fuck you" & walked to Lloyds Bank & opened  personal, business & savings accounts with them, my personal & savings accounts I still have today.

My credit rating has always been very good.
