Post by: alfred on July 29, 2022, 08:31:04 AM
As a sea fairing  nation and  as the U.K   is surrounded by sea water and as a nation
fish  or fish and chips comes to mind, the varieties of fish has declined over the years as a result of other nations over fishing ,and fish portions aren't as big as they were 60 yeas ago ,

yet herrings and tuna amongst other types of fish and sardines in particular are rich  in omega three ,so should we eat more fish, ? or decline due to  the amount of plastic being dumped in our sea and getting into the food chain,?

Q; assuming you are a fish lover, what fish do you like, and will you share your thoughts with us , also  have you ever tried cooked fish in say a salad are you adventurous  when it comes to  eating fish generally,.

breaded cod with chips, trout with new potatoes, Salmon ditto, smoked salmon sarnies, smoked salmon carbonara sauce and pasta, white fish in a white wine sauce with potato croquettes and peas.
do we count shell fish? Breaded scampi and chips, prawn cocktail, Tiger prawns in rice with soy sauce - I think that's about it

I don't eat a lot of fish but I do like the chippy cod, prefer tinned salmon to fresh and I will eat Tuna & Mayonnaise butties, that's about it for me.
