Lincoln Christmas Market

I am not too familiar with the situation in the UK, but here in Germany money isn't spent as quickly and generously as before all the crises and prices have gone up everywhere. In our paper I read that the Christmas markets are crowded, but I am not sure whether people are as eager to buy something as before.

Nothing to do with this topic, I'm afraid, but I must congratulate you on your excellent English.
I only wish that my very limited German is even approaching as good.
On the other hand, when we were last in Germany I managed to successfully ask for two spoons for the dessert which Marge and I shared!

Although I've lived in Lincoln & surrounding area since 1990, with a break when I lived in the South East, I only went to the Christmas Market on one occasion.
