NHS staff have succeeded in getting their mandatory vaccination scrapped, based on their right to have a personal choice.

Will the NHS uphold my personal right to refuse treatment by an unvaccinated member of staff?

Bonkers.

Can I choose not to pay car insurance using the same arguments?

Well all unvaccinated staff should be identifiable, to give the rest of us the option.

If they sack all those refusing vaccination the NHS will be in even bigger trouble than it already is. PPE and testing will offer far better protection than insisting all the staff are vaccinated as being vaccinated doesn't prevent infection or transmission anyway.

That may well be the case but it doesn't negate my right to chose not be to treated by someone who's unvaccinated, or least my right to know if they're unvaccinated.

Certainly you can refuse treatment if you wish. It will help cut the huge backlog.

Or it could prevent me from being infected & creating an even larger backlog.

You must decide as you see fit.

Yes, but my point is that I should be allowed to make that decision which I won't be able to do unless I know which staff have been vaccinated & which staff haven't.

do you really think that you will be offered a choice? More likely to be take it or leave it
