Title: Autumn leaves..
Post by: Scrumpy on October 28, 2022, 10:05:09 AM

What is it with some people that as soon as leaves start to fall they have to rush out to clear them up.!
The colours look so beautiful on the trees and ground..
My friend is one of these people.. Her arms have broom and rake extensions..
She rushes out to clear up any leaf that dares to fall on her property..
Me.!!  I leave them for a while.. hoping the breeze will move them along..

My council uses the same technique. There are usually traces of them right through til they start falling the next year,

fallen leaves are fine in the country side, but they can be really dangerous to the elderly and those others a bit unsteady on city pavements

They sure can, Dageus and I were up river the other day, could hardly see the path for all the fallen leaves, slippy in places too.  :worried:

My leaves fly around the garden.. not in the street..
