Two police officers were allocated the task of escorting prisoner from Banbury Station to Horton General Hospital..
The officers had been told to watch the prisoner 'like a hawk' as he had attempted to evade capture..
At the hospital the prisoner was made to sit on a row of seats BEHIND the officers..
The officers watched tv.. chatted amongst themselves and used their mobile phones..
When they (eventually) turned around the prisoner had gone..!!
Laurel and Hardy comes to mind..
we see them often at our local hospital usually accompanied by prison officers, when i say accompanied i mean chained to...
Ludicrous. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
But is it true?
