Is it a fix ?

I think if you have moved away to live in another Country then you lose your right to vote on anything that happens.

In that case it would be easy for a foreign billionaire to buy the requisite votes to outnumber the British. I am not suggesting there is anything wrong with one of the candidates being married to one.

You need to have been a member for 3 (?) months before you can vote. Not than it matters much in the long term which of them does.

Whoever wins needs to be a miracle worker to win the next election which, I'm pretty sure, is beyond recovery and if they manage that they were the right choice anyway.

If as reported Rushi started his 'campaign' in December, which is when his site was set up, that's plenty of time for new members to join

Like I said does it even matter?

That's certainly the case for Scots who live elsewhere. 😊
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I know, it was the case during the independence vote, a lot of Scots in England were angry about it, including one of my sisters who lives in Gateshead. Might be different next time.

I don't think people living abroad should have a say in to how any country is being run when they don't even live in that country..
We should have kept our nose out of how other countries were being ruled.. The British Empire has much to answer for..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

If they let England vote too, you may get your independence   why didn't that happen last time I wonder ?

The problem here is that the conservative party is a private organisation. It is completely self governing and can take membership, votes and money from anyone it pleases.

As has been mentioned, the coup leaders knew well over three months ago that they would need to have an election  and there is nothing corrupt about getting their mates to join.

While many are moaning about the Tory party membership picking the next PM think what is likely to happen when Labour win the next election. How long before the ginger growler's mates give Starmer the elbow.

Yep, if England had a vote, Scotland would have been gone already.

Actually no, I can vote as a 'non-resident', by postal vote even though I have dual nationality. A strange idea, maybe because the Tories believe every all ex - pats are fervently blue and Labour the opposite?
