Speaking to my neighbours we were discussing sending stuff back after having bought online.. I told them that I usually give things to my family or the Charity shop..
They said they had a cupboard full of stuff that they couldn't be bothered to return..
Online shopping must have made a ' killing' in the last couple of years..
That's the only drawback isn't it ? I returned an item ages ago and it was a bit of a pfaff dropping back at a local dry cleaners would you believe ! Now I tend not to buy clothes on line and stick to household stuff.
My new gadget arrived Sunday a food vacuum sealer, the other one broke down. This one is better than the Lidl one and I'm well pleased with it.
My son bought an expensive coat online from one of these outdoors type places, it didn't fit properly and we returned it. Its been 3 1/2 weeks now and I haven't got my money back yet although they confirmed they had received it back, I threatened them with Paypal this morning, who did get me my money back once when I had a problem. There are only a few places online I would buy from now as their returns are free and easy to do, but some make it really difficult.
Amazon has to be easiest of all. You get a refund soon after the post office scan it in.
Its surprising how many items still with the tags on are donated to the charity shop where I volunteer.
Bought some Rieker shoes on Amazon.. They cost a few bob.. Went into 'returns' .. something about printing out returns details and sticking it to parcel ..then posting it.. I told them that I didn't have a printer.. They told me to keep them at no cost to me..
Much easier now I have phone.. Did it once and refund was instant.. But I sometimes can't be bothered...
No need for a printer now. They send an email with an outsize QR code you can show at the returns place and they print the returns label.
That's good to know..
Not sure if all returns locations can but the PO 100 yards from me does and I've used it a couple of time.
As my sausage fingers often let me down when showing anybody something on the phone I print the email
Never understand people who have a computer and no printer. The printers are cheaper than the cartridges now.

I had one but gave it to my daughter. I hardly ever used it and the inks dried out.
I've found that too, unless you use it every day or so, the ink does dry up.
   Go and wash your mouth out..
