Such a Sad Start to the Day.

Took Dageus along the shore between Thurso Beach and Scrabster Beach for his walk earlier. Came face to face with this poor Humpbacked Whale tangled up in fishing gear. Such an unnecessary end to the poor things life. I hate when these things happen and today it hit home hard. Went away feeling miserable.

Indeed it is, but that's the problem with the fishing industry, if the nets are damaged they just get chucked into the sea.

I suppose it's possible to find the owner of the stuff through the writing on the orange bouy. If they do then I hope they get the book thrown at them.
