Just read the write up of this film.. This is a first feature from English-Pakistani filmmaker Aleem Khan. It's a beautifully restrained yet devastating exploration of love, loss, grief and identity wrapped up in a story that's not just gripping but also — prepare yourself for a shock: ready? — wholly original.
- The film stars Joanna Scanlan as Mary, a white Muslim who had converted to
marry her husband, Ahmed, a ferry captain. They live in Dover and this opens with a happy domestic scene — they've just come in; she makes tea; the talk is of sag aloo and someone's new baby — but then he suddenly dies. She retreats into stunned grief, listening over and over to a message he once left on her phone while she pretended to be out when friends or family call. Then, on sorting through his things, she discovers that the husband she thought she knew had a second life over in France. She now needs to find out: what is the exact nature of this betrayal?
Don't think it's on Netflix though.
I googled it and Amazon Prime was mentioned so I'll have a look later. Got to watch Corrie first although I don't really know why I watch it these days.
I still watch Corrie - on catch up and I don't know why either, Ena Sharples would turn in her grave !
Its a habit. I still watch it too.
It was often quite funny 'in the old days' with Bet Lynch etc. They seem to be bringing in more young people with all sorts of problems.
Never watched it other than by accident, but mum and my late sister were avid fans so I would sometimes see a few minutes before remembering I really couldn't stand it

I found this film on Prime but being a tight **** I didn't want to pay to watch it !

Which site?
I cant remember now, the bittorrent downloaded ok, it was the next step the message came up.
Sounds like you are out of luck then but there is nothing dangerous involved if you follow the instructions correctly.
It was obviously "operator error"
I can only assume so. For instance there is nowhere that the instructions say you should be downloading a bittorrent. You could do so but instructions are about using magnet links.
I'll have another go one day and write everything down !!!!
It's already written down.
No I mean I'll write everything down that happens.......
You install the torrent client which I think you said you had if I understood you. Then you open magnetdl and search, then you click a magnet and the magnet client downloads the film is about all it boils down to. I don't actually use it that way. That's zoony's way. Mine is a tad more complicated.
If it helps, the torrent client I have is qBittorrent. Never had a moment's problem and been using it at least 5 years prob'ly more.. :upvote:
