Which have tiny ends that you push against engine valves to regrind them and their seats so they seal properly. You mentioned you had boughts a plunger which isn't the same thing. You say it isn't working now - I think it never would have worked very well.

Probably not,  but on the occasions the plug stuck, the plunger did the trick.   Enough from me on this you must all be getting bored - I'll find a plumber !
