I know the feeling. I am the oldest of my generation of siblings, cousins, etc., and it seems scarcely a year goes by without losing someone

Good morning good people.
I see we have an Amber weather alert until Tuesday.   I don't know why think giving these alerts makes any difference,  it won't change anything, will it. 

I am just about to nip up the Co-op  (Yes, the Co-op.  Does that make me wicked or something)?
People can boycott what they want,  but it is the nearest shop for miles, and I am going.

Then after lunch, I am going to try and dig this solid, bone dry soil and get my Dahlias in before its too late.   They are at present growing in pots,  but desperate for more room now.

That will be my exciting day done.
