I saw a great tip on facebook today
when you burn your toast [and who hasnt]
instead of either binning it or scraping it wi the knife
you simply put both slices together over the sink and rub them together
leaving you with perfect toast...
Give that a try crabbyob, it happens often in our house.
I am now taking my bananas off the bunch so they do not ripen too fast..
A tip you gave us a few days ago.. and it works.
Once toast is burned that burned taste permiates the toast and remains however you remove the burned surface. I reckon that bread is cheap enough to chuck such calamities away.
provided that it is not reduced to charcoal, I rather like burnt toast
Mike

But the toast has to go cold so that the Lurpak does not soak in. Then add a tiny smear of raspberry seedless.
Salted French butter for me.. But not on warm toast.. I like the butter to sit on the top.
I don't really like burnt toast.. I would chuck it..
Salted Graham's butter spread with the toast straight out of the toaster - can't abide cold toast
Mike

nobody else got any tips hints??
I found a wee drop of bleach and a cup of white vinegar is great for cleaning and refreshing the washing machine, on a 60 wash. Do it a couple of times a year.
Also don't fully close the door when not in use, helps to keep bad smells away.
nice one.. [2090]
I will try the bleach and white vinegar in my washing machine..
Any hints on cleaning shower glass.. I know there are many products but they don't seem to do it properly..
I use a squeegee on it while still in the shower before getting out. That way you don't get anything that needs cleaning off.
Something like this https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-window-shower-squeegee/p/0437325
Thank you klondike.. That looks good.
I just use a squeeze
This was recommended to me by a girl on another forum ' Mr Muscle Shower Shine' I've tried others, but always go back to this one. :upvote:
