On the grounds that stuff about posting images is boring the bit I've added to the end of the tutorial may be missed.

Want to get shot of...

the annoying spur[size=78%]ious BBcode bug[/size]

on the real PF then this should do the trick because it's why it doesn't happen here.

On PF follow this chain to get to the screen I've added below.

Profile / Account Settings / Look and Layout

Once there uncheck the WYSIWYG editor by default option.
If you don't like the result then turn it back on.
You can do so here too of course if you miss the fun of editing them out.

Unfortunately there isn't a setting to fix the 522 errors.

Thanks - I must try that - I don't know why, but those tags irritate my out of all proportion to the minor effort required to edit them out - just my impatient nature, I suppose

I've reset my controls as well, lets hope I've seen the last of those Scunners. :dance:
