Title: boris johnsons party gate
Post by: alfred on May 20, 2022, 10:37:03 AM
It seems that Boris Johnson's drinking  party seems to be for ever going on, and on, as i wonder  why Boris hasn't got around to solving the gas , electric, food , petrol and other problems at home rather than going on and on about his violation of him drinking and partying when at the time people people were advised not to do so,,

how ever it seems he can raise billions and billions to help quite rightly the eucranian people who are sadly fighting for their survival having to suffer  as a result of Vladimir Putin's conquest of ruling other countries as well,  so why haven't Boris used a little of this money to help pensioners and  others needing help , it seems were being ignored as Boris tries to cement himself as a leader on the worlds stage, and at the same time ignoring help where its really needed at home ,

Q; what are your views on Boris as he bumbles along , is he doing a good job ,.your thoughts will make interesting reading,

I don't think there is anyone else who could do the job, what a sad reflection of our 600+ MP's.

I've had my £150! I don't remember getting much help from any government through the times of massive inflation years ago.  People were losing their houses.

I'd like to see a clear breakdown of the income and expenditure of some who are claiming poverty.  For instance what are the 'bills' they allude to.

It's a good question Mac. Many of those on UC will be getting the bulk of their rent and rates paid or at least part paid.

I suspect a lot of the bills are Sky and Netflix subs plus booze and fags.

======

I just took a look at the mother ship and it seems poor Brian is puzzled  by this poverty too. At least in the Birmingham area.

QuoteI was very surprised to hear this as I have been told everybody has £5,000,000.00 in Birmingham and all pensioners have a minimum income of £35,000.00 a year.

If they weren't paying 17 BILLION £s on immigration costs, perhaps there'd be more to go round.   I know I go on about immigration, but it costs a lorra lorra money and we're paying - in various ways.

Alex there is nothing wrong with complaining about 17 billion immigration costs down the swannie when the money could be better spent on the people here who have paid their taxes all their lives and need help.

The man down the road who, to my knowledge, has never gone to work..
Who, seems to be well fed.
Who, wears trendy shorts weather permitting.
Who, pops to the club, with his wife on a summers evening..
He seem very happy and smiles a lot.. Does the man down the road..

The woman down the road.. who is married to the man down the road.. worked in the Co-op for a short while..
She often passed my gate with a ciggie on the go..
She didn't 'do' mornings and was often late for work..
She left the Co-op.. She didn't get sacked because firms are loath to do that..
She has a lovely personality.. and she, like her husband , (the man down the road) was always smiling..
I haven't seen the man down the road for the a short while..
I haven't seen the woman down the road either..
I guess they are on one of their holidays..

Their motor is posher than mine..

Immigrant should be tagged, and given a six month work permit, rather than free food and board and pocket money.

No they shouldn't, show them the door straight away. Unless they are proper refugees and come here the correct way, with every intention of returning to their own country once it's safe for them to do so.

Human rights lawyer are stopping us doing anything, so showing them the door, stopping them coming by the thousands would be great but cannot be done,  its costing the tax payers a lot of dosh.

We can't show them the door unless we leave the European Convention of Human Rights which we helped form in 1951. Also and more relevantly, the 1951 Refugee Convention and its 1967 Protocol. No UK govt will ever have the pluck or strength so to do. It would take a Thatcherite style determination and commitment to see it through.

Also 'centre-ists' (remoaners) are forming a new group dubbed the British version of Emmanuel Macron's 'La Republique En Marche (LREM)'. Mr Blair will speak at the 'Future of Britain Conference' launching his new ideal on June 30th. It will be hosted by former BBC broadcasters Emily Maitlis and Jon Sopel - little beauts the pair!

They and half the Tory Politicians, plus ALL the opposition in the UK would never allow such a cathartic review of our ruling tenets as I propone, let alone the 'House of Lords', chock full of Lib-dems!

So the dye is forever cast with a swelling 80,000,000 population soon and then beyond, the end of healthcare etc as we knew it and generally the fracture of social structure entirely. By 2050 a country unrecognisable to its past identity.

Have to agree, Cassandra - I would be tempted to express my opinion of the future of the UK, but the obscenity censor would have a field day.

Ah but maybe Rishi has (been told to) rescued him.

Magic money tree provides unexpected bumper crop

DESPITE apparently not existing, the magic money tree is set to cut UK energy bills by hundreds of pounds, it has emerged.

The sudden yield of £10 billion has come as a surprise to many because it was thought the fictional tree had been harvested to exhaustion due to the furlough scheme.
Magic money tree proprietor Rishi Sunak said: "As I went to bed last night I looked out the window and noticed there was barely a penny to be seen on its stunted, withered branches. It gave me nightmares. So imagine my delight when I woke up this morning and saw that its boughs were weighed down with a hefty crop of ten, 20, even 50 pound notes. I immediately ran out in my pyjamas to gather them in my picking basket."

Now I can knock hundreds of pounds off winter energy bills, scrap that terrible £200 loan idea everyone hated, and salvage my tarnished public image. Everyone's a winner.

"Sceptic Wayne Hayes said: "It's not the existence of the magic money tree I have trouble believing. It's the idea that this isn't a distraction from the Sue Gray report which is clearly total bullshit."
