Once went to work wearing one black shoe and one brown one. To avoid disturbing Veronica I used to dress in the dark, and had forgotten that there were two pairs of shoes under the bed - both slip-ons, so in the dark felt the same. I mean, once one is up and doing - who looks down at their own shoes?
