Saw a pic of her majesty the other day and was struck by how happy she is these days. Not only that but with a definite mischievous gleam in her eye which suggested that she'd just pinched the butler's backside.  .  So very nice to see after the last year or two.

Sheila

Yes, I thought that too.  She looked genuinely very happy.

Michael Rolls

yes - and well deserved
Thank you for the days, the days you gave me

Very well deserved. This country owes HM much. Her steadfastness should be a compulsory study for self-important politicians everywhere.

Scrumpy

She has such a lovely smile.. I wish her well.
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

-Oy-

A product of taking a step back a little and resting perhaps?

She deserves it!

Plus she no longer has Phil the Greek to worry about.

klondike

He'd pretty much quit on causing embarrassments apart from dangerous driving. Can't say the same for some descendants though.

Alex

She was at the opening of the new Elisabeth Line in London this morning, looking amazing in yellow.

Lovely happy pic and in almost the identical outfit that she wore in 1966 at Wembley to present our footballers with the World Cup..

Flying Bomb

If she makes it to 100 years of age, she will be able to send a telegram to herself.

zoony

 Aye but these days she'll prob'ly get/send a text..

zoony

I really like her Gillie's stick walking 'aid'.. A very cool queen indeed..

Raven

They are great sticks. I have one that used to belong to my dad, it went up a few Munros with him. I use it in the forest and up on the hills, be lost without it.

zoony

Well, I dunno who makes 'em but they'd better up their production rates cos they'll sell an awful lot of 'em now!
