the British Army has always had my Confidence... when i was a squaddie the old soldiers all used to say 'I joined when they were needing them, not just feeding them'
my great uncle joined up in 1914 as a fourteen year old, my grandmother told me he was the joker in the pack, always laughing and joking... now i knew him for maybe ten years, and never ever saw him smile... but we will always rise to the occassion, thats the nature of the beast...
i too worry about tomorrow, because i think these dinghy boys are a Muslim plot, but when they rise, as i fear they might, they will be crushed inside ten days, them and a lot of innocents...
Not sure that you are right there crabbyob. If you are going to defeat an enemy you first need to be able to identify that enemy and sfaik they don't have any uniforms. With the numbers predicted to be arriving you only need a small percentage to have evil intent to get a large number of terrorist incidents. Have a read up on the experience of the migrant friendly Swedes.
I hope you're right when (not if) the muslims rise up they will be crushed ! Who will do the crushing though ? we have become TOO tolerant, we're known as the 'soft old Brits'.

i looked at him and said summit we cant say today, but then pointed out that in the middle of Brum...[The BullRing] any white guy might be an IRA man..... but black fellows cant hide, give me a decent rifle and i could knock one over at half a mile...
the muslim rise....the govt declares a crufew on all muslims and asians... even at my age with todays rifles i reckon i could knock them over at half a mile wi telescopics, the body might be a bit decrepid but the trigger-finger remains fluid... :cool:
