My dentist will not allow anyone into their building unless invited by an assistant who comes outside to get you..
What game are they playing..!! They have a perfectly good waiting area and I doubt there have been more than two patients in there at any one time..
I have a check up due and they have sent me numerous reminders but I have no intention of waiting outside.. Up to 30 mins last time.. and it was cold..!!
I have been to the doctors for a blood test and able to walk in to reception and book in.. I then sat in a waiting room until called..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Would be nice to get invited for a checkup, at the moment treatment only.

Making rules will go on and on because it is easier for the staff..
How long can they continue to enforce these rules in the interest of Covid protection.. ?

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

We're both booked for our 3-monthly check-ups, next Wed....
Receptionist, (Mrs. Dentist). Checks our temperatures, just inside the door. Before letting us into the waiting room...

We had our normal check and S&P recently.  We had to ring the bell and the receptionist came to the door and checked our temperatures.  Then everything was as normal.

I have seen a GP once since the pandemic started and the asthma nurse once a year.  I'm just grateful that I chose the right time to be properly ill and received good treatment from the hospital.  It it had been three years later, I'm sure I wouldn't have been as well looked after.

When I went to the hospital for my scan I had to wait in the car until they called me in.
