A woman was repeatedly stabbed outside a London school this morning & she died at the scene.
A man jumped into his car & drove into the knifeman to stop the attack. The knifeman was killed & the driver has been arrested for murder.
You can't always believe what you read on twatter, but if this is true it seems the man who stopped the murderer has been arrested for murder ? doesn't make sense does it. London of course.
It makes perfect sense.. I imagine the cops still have to formally charge him before extenuations can be considered?..Things are rarely as simple as they appear, no?
Not to me. How can they arrest him for murder ? you don't get many murderers using a vehicle to kill. It could have been dangerous driving, drunk driving ?
I'm guessing there must be more to this than is obvious from Twitter. For instance was the driver related to the dead woman in some way? Was this an act of revenge or an attempt to stop the attack?
This suggests it was a rescue attempt

I imagine they won't persue any charges but it hardly encourages anybody to get involved. The message appears to be walk on.
Some nutters out there.. I bet the truth will be interesting to read.
If difficult to find....
Here's the latest.

Thanks Mac.
I understand they have to investigate these things to be sure that the bloke with the car wasn't pulling some sort of scam in cahoots with the victim but why do they have to release information about him being arrested and bailed - it sends out entirely the wrong messages imo. What comes out loud and clear is cast your eyes away and just let them get on with it otherwise you will be getting all manner of grief.
How sad.
I thought so too Alex.
