Title: Prince Andrew
Post by: Alex on February 15, 2022, 05:03:40 PM
They're saying over on Twatter that there's been an out of court settlement.  This is between the man who wanted to clear his name and the woman who wasn't interested in money  :yay: :yay:

It's a pity he ever got mixed up with that crew in the first place.  :downvote:

An innocent man, with guts, would be in court,
fighting to clear his name.
This settlement says it all.

Agreed, but it's still a pity he ever met them.

We have all done stupid things but because of who he is it's been made far worse thanks mostly to the wonderful media, who of course would never screw him or anyone else over.  :nooo:

He was friends with Epstein for years.. Knowing he was a paedophile..
That's not doing 'something stupid' ..That's enjoying what you are doing..

What do people class as a paedophile ?  I've always thought it was having sex with children, now I'm not condoning anything the man did but weren't these victims all young women and not children ?

Get yer 'move to controversial'  pen out klondike

I'm assuming the American classification is different from ours.

The girls that were 'groomed' were underage in that country.. Maybe not in this country but 'when in Rome'.. and all that.

I don't doubt that importuning young women and passing them on to house guests for sex may break some law or other here too. If it doesn't then it should.

It's the legal definition of 'age of consent' I imagine. Six months or six years doesn't legally matter, it's an abuse of a child. The fact that they were procured makes things very murky.. At this point we don't know enough.

He may have been innocent of the accusations she brought against him, but he is guilty of much more and deserves to be humiliated in this way.

I do not like his daughters but I do feel sorry for them.

The settlement is said to be over 10 million.. 2 million will go to her charity and the rest she pockets.. With the money Epstein payed we are talking big money..
Can't wait for the books to hit the shelves.. and the film to be shown..
He is a bloody disgrace to our Queen.. He will always be hiding in corners and I doubt will ever step on that balcony again..
Where was my prince when I was younger..!!

Saw the headline of Today's Mirror when I was at the shop. It said that he is under orders from The Queen and Charles to pay the woman.
As for a return to Royal Duties, Who would actually want him to be present at their Whatever?

I don't think the public would invite him to open an envelope..
After the Queen has gone I reckon he will find another country to retire to.. He will never be poor.. They , being royal, always have something of value to sell..
Neither Charles nor William will allow him to represent the royals..

can i just say our grandfathers who served in the first WW were treated a sight worse than this young lady... i dont doubt that the descission to settle out of court was likely taken higher up the family tree thn the Queens second son...

He is an indulged royal.. Enough is enough.. He is NOT special and shouldn't behave like he is..
Many of the royals are hard working and are an asset to this country because of who they are.. He is not..
I am not a royalist.. I respect our Queen .. she must be admired for the way she has carried out her duties...  Unfortunately she has a spoiled brat who behaves like a child and hides behind his mother's skirt.. Off with his head.. :nooo:

Title: Re: Prince Andrew

I think there are some interesting stories to be told that will involve some big names..
Maxwell is not the sort of woman that will carry the can for others..
I might be wrong but I don't think a person serving a prison sentence can have a book published.. I don't know how it stands in USA..

No I don't know about that either. A book would make Interesting reading. But I think that Virginia creature could write a book, but how much would be true.

The important thing to whoever produces it isn't how much is true but how many zeros there are in the sales volume. Most of this stuff gets produced by ghost writers anyway rather than the name on the cover.

And just like Epstein, he wasn't on suicide watch & there was no CCTV.
