I never really understood the ins and outs of this but having read this article I am wondering why David Cameron is back on the scene at all .

It seems that all ex PMs or ministers spend their time and earn their squillions writing to their ex mates to promote their own interests, it's called lobbying .

Not to mention the lucrative round of giving talks .

Who listens to these talks ?

I'm sure that Sunak invited Cameron in through the back door (the Lords) simply because he has no idea what to do, and neither do any of his ministers.
Unfortunately, neither does Cameron, looking back to when he was the PM!

I'm quite sure that the Conservatives will be out by the end of this year.  Cameron, of course, will now have a very easy life doing nothing in the Lords.

I still have hopes that Reform might be elected in sufficient numbers to make a difference, but sadly it is likely that Labour will be able to ruin the country even more.

I look on the bright side, though.  This could have happened several years (or decades) earlier, and we would now be living in what is yet to come.
